Ryder and Kyndall now home, Rustin to come today (August 12)
I can now say with certainty that taking care of 5 babies will be hard (not that I ever thought it would be easy). I know this because I have found that taking care of just TWO babies is hard. Last night, I was peed on twice between the hours of 12:00 Midnight and 3:00 AM. First Kyndall had a go at me and then, not to be outdone by his slightly older sister, Ryder had an even better go at me. I think they must have talked with each other and decided to go all at once so that I would be better prepared to deal with the arrival of the others. I am grateful to those two for training me early about the dangers of changing diapers. Now, I will hopefully be more prepared to anticipate and hopefully avoid those problems in the future.
Later on today, we expect to pick up Rustin. Originally, he was supposed to come home yesterday but they decided to send Kyndall instead which is good. If Kaydence goes home next, then they will be coming back in the exact reverse of their birth order. I guess that the first shall be last and the last shall be first. I am hoping to actually start updating the web site a little more. I haven't had a lot of time to do that lately but I think that when we get in a groove, we will start to be able to figure out more time.

With the recent birth of a few set of multiples around the country, I have become fascinated. I am a lurker, but love to read your posts. Lots of prayers are coming your way from California. I am so thrilled that you have your babies headed home. Way to grow kids! Congrats again, and I can't wait to read more.

Good luck with all five babies!!
My site has been following your journey for the last few weeks.
You were very lucky to have all five arrive healthy and to be strong enough to not have to need assistance with their breathing.
We wish you the best and know that sleep will not come for a while.
My tip to your family - don't buy 5 of the same thing. Try to buy many different types of entertainment pieces so that they don't bore to easily.
It will be easy for you to move them from bouncer to bouncer if they have different features.

You need pee pee teepees!

or just a wash cloth will do, but the teepees are cute! hehe.

Congratulations on bringing the babies home, one by one! A quick tip, cover the private areas with a wipe while being exposed during diaper changing. Also, have you thought of assigning a color to each child so you can distinguish who's is who's? just an idea! Keep the stories & pictures going!
Best wishes, Anna

Jayson,
Funny, I can't believe they both got you. Look on the bright side, and least you know their plumbing works just fine.
I'm sure you guys are a bit tired but hopefully getting some help as the babes start to come home.
We remain grateful for the miracle of healthy strong babies who get to come home early.

When a baby pees on me, I look at it as their way of marking their territory. So feel the love, Jayson, because they've decided to keep you! :)
It sounds like despite the hectic nature of it - the first two babies journies home have been successful. Congratulations. We're still reading, with awe and adimiration.
