Ryder will be the first to come home on August 10th (tomorrow)
Well, today we got the call from the doctor telling us that Ryder is coming home followed quickly by Rustin and Kyndall. The only thing remaining for Kaydence and Kassidy is to be bottle fed for three days straight. When they can successfully do that without receiving other types of feeding, then they will go home too. I am not sure we are ready but yet but, really, will we ever be ready? For some reason, I was thinking we would have at least a month before they started coming home. Now, it looks like they could all be home by a week from today.
It looks like we may have an option for a van now. My cousin Samantha Lee has a sister-in-law that is one of the owners of Grand Canyon University here in Phoenix. They are just about to trade in their 12 passenger vans and might offer to let us buy one of them for a really good price. We went and looked at it today. It was huge but that is what we need. If it all works out, we will probably sell our mini van here and I will just drive the big one home next week some time.
Tonight, Rachelle and I got to go on our first date in months. We went and saw Hairspray and then had some ice cream. It was a lot of fun and was pretty relaxing. We are nervous about the babies coming home but we figured that we should take the time to relax while we still can and deal with the non-relaxing stuff when it comes.

CONGRATES!!!!! Welcome home babies! I am totally surprised that the little angels are already starting their way home.
All the best to each and everyone of you. I can only imagen the life changes you all have and will have to make, but in the end it will be all worth it.
My 6 y/o thinks its the greatest thing having 5 babies at one time, he wants us to try. I told him that he is nuts and it will never happen.
Our whole family wishes your whole family all the best in life and will keep each and everyone of you in our thoughts and prayers. You have been truly blessed and have a whole life time to enjoy the blessing, with many more to follow.

Jayson,
Great news! I have really enjoyed following your family's journey and I hope the updates will continue!
You joined the ranks of driving a BMW (Big Mormon Wagon) just like us!!! They are HUGE but you'll get used to it and won't ever want to give it up. We have 6 children and we love our 15 passenger BMW!

Congratulations and what wonderful news that Ryder will soon be home.
Rachelle you are an extraordinary women!! I admire your courage and strength throughout your whole pregnancy, while being away from Jayson and the children. You should be so proud of all that you have achieved and the wonderful start you have given the quins.

I'm so glad you two got to have a date!!!! I just wish you had had time to finish "Eclipse" too, I suppose you can listen to it on CD while you feed the babies.
Now it begins, welcome home Sweet baby Ryder.
The next few weeks are going to be somewhat crazy and a challenge but you can DO IT!

Congratulations to Ryder for being the toughest little fighter! Glad to hear babies are coming home . . . it will be a lot of hard work for a long while, but you two are up to the task and these babies are so lucky to have you as parents! We're thinking of you and praying for you all.

Dear Wilkinsons,
Your story is one of the most amazing things I have ever read! I am myself, 34 weeks pregnant (with one) and I just can not imagine the pure strength, determination, worry and overwhelming love that it took to help these sweet babies enter the world so healthy.
Congratulations to you both.
Now when my little one kicks and squirms in utero I think of how it must have felt to have 5, and the immense worry you must have experienced that they may come before they are able to survive. I find myself cherishing every little kick even more instead of thinking of it as an inconvenience at 3 am in the morning. Thank you for posting your story and I, we, wish you and all your little boys and girls, a wonderful homecoming!!
Sincerely,
NaDeana - Nova Scotia, Canada

Uncle Ken here.
I find it most interesting that the smallest baby comes home first, followed by the next smallest two, and the big babies come home last...
I'm sure there's a simple explanation, but I haven't yet found it. Is it that the small ones had to work harder in utero and, hence, are more developed?
The world wonders...
